Upon uploading their service account to CMP, some customers have gotten confused by the fact that they aren't immediately able to attach the BigQuery FinOps Dashboard.
We explain why in the help center article, but they may miss the disclaimer in the article. Other times they may not view the article at all.
Feature Request:
Allow customers to attach the dashboard as long as the BigQuery FinOps section in Settings is "Healthy."
If the dashboard isn't ready yet (i.e. we aren't finished processing their BQ jobs data), then display a disclaimer on the dashboard page.
The disclaimer can read something like:
"If you have recently uploaded your Google Cloud Service Account, it may take up to a few days for the BigQuery FinOps dashboard to appear. This is because the Cloud Management Platform is still validating that there's enough information about the BigQuery usage patterns in your organization before providing you access to this dashboard."
